Update for customers visiting the saleroom

Friday, July 16, 2021

As from Monday 19th July there will be no legal requirement for face coverings or social distancing. However, due to the rising infection rates, particularly in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, we will continue to require our customers to wear face coverings unless they are exempt from having to do so. The very nature of our business as well as the indoor environment in which we have to operate necessitates this decision. We also see this as a common courtesy to your fellow customers and to our staff, who will continue also to wear face coverings. Two-metre distancing still needs to be adhered to. Perspex screens and hand sanitising stations will remain in place. Numbers will continue to be restricted in the auction gallery and in the viewing rooms. Thank you in advance for your co-operation and we look forward to removing/changing these measures just as soon as the Public Health situation allows us to do so safely.
