Corona Virus Update – Important Announcement
With immediate effect, we have taken the decision to temporarily close the auction house. We look forward to seeing you all again when we re-open. We hope it won’t be too long.
In considering the welfare of our customers, the welfare of our staff, WHO and government advice, as well as our personal sense of responsibility to public health, we feel we have been left with no alternative. We hope that you understand.
Next week’s sale due to be held on Tuesday 24 March 2020 has been postponed to a future date – as yet undetermined. It will, however, remain live and online allowing customers to continue leaving bids should they so wish. We would urge you to do this.
Although the building will be closed and unstaffed, the administrative side of things will be dealt with by team members operating remotely – probably from home.
Importantly, accounts staff will also be working remotely to ensure that all vendors and suppliers are paid in the normal way.
