15 June 2020

This week’s sale (16 June) will be an “online only” auction without any viewing and bidding will only be possible via commission bids or via our website.

Visit :

Our auction of Tuesday 23 June 2020 will be open for viewing from 9.15 am to 5.00 pm on Monday 22 June and on the morning of the sale from 9.15 am until 11.00 am. Numbers permitted to view at any one time will be limited to a maximum of 18 people and attendance for the sale itself will also be limited to 18 people. There is no facility to book and when capacity is reached clients will have to queue.

Only 2 members from any single household are allowed in the building at any one time to view. This includes children. During the viewing period customers will no longer be able handle and inspect lots which are in the display cabinets. Customers are also asked to avoid touching the lots which are on view.

Only 1 member from any single household can attend the actual auction.

Remote bidding will be encouraged via our live bidding platform or via traditional paper bids. To avoid contamination via telephone handsets and mobile phones we are suspending our telephone bidding service.

A one-way flow for customer traffic will be implemented. Signage will be installed so please keep following the arrows.

Loading bay No. 1 will be for incoming goods only. Clients will be allowed both in the dock and on the raised bay but they will not be allowed through the double doors into the corridor area.

Loading Bay No. 2 will be for outgoing goods only and clients will not be permitted on the raised dock. This bay will also be the pedestrian exit route from the building for everybody.

Until further notice customers will have to load/unload their own vehicles without assistance so will need to bring the necessary manpower to handle the larger items.

Until further notice customer toilets will be closed.

Payment by BACS prior to arrival is our preferred method. Card payments will be taken (contactless when the amount allows) and cash will also be accepted - this may be reviewed.

Everything is going to be a little different from now on so we would ask you all to remain patient as we overcome certain teething problems which we are bound to encounter.

Thank you for all your support over the lockdown period and we look forward to seeing you very soon.

It’s great to be back.
