Tuesdays are best avoided as this is our auction day and the saleroom porters are particularly busy.

Pre-Sale Valuations, Free of Charge...

We are happy to advise vendors as to the value of any item they wish to sell before they make the decision to consign it to the auction.

Our team of valuers will be happy to give you an honest and fair appraisal of a single item or an entire house contents.

You can request a free pre-sale valuation in any of the following ways:

  • In Person: Simply bring your items into our Algernon Road saleroom for a free appraisal from one of our auctioneers.

  • Via Email: Simply send us a few photographs of your item(s) as well as a brief description and one of our valuers will get back to you as soon as possible. Send to info@millersauctioneers.co.uk

  • By Private Apppointment: A private, confidential home visit can be arranged with one of our valuers. We can appraise individual items as well as partial or full house contents.

Areas we covers are Newcastle, North Tyneside, South Tyneside, Northumberland, County Durham & Teeside.

Reserves...

T N Miller will be happy to advise clients on a suitable reserve price for any item they wish to consign to the auction.

If no reserve is asked for by the vendor, the item(s) will be sold without reserve and at the auctioneers discretion. Our auctioneers and valuers have decades of experience between them and will work hard to achieve the best possible price for any vendor.   The vast majority of items sold at auction are offered without reserve.

Our auctions are well attended and are advertised on social media.

Our sales feature live internet bidding, allowing collector's from across the world to bid at our auctions. As a result, vendors can be sure that their items will achieve their full value without the need to place a reserve price.

Our policy is to pay vendors 10 working days after all goods have been sold.

T N Miller Auctioneers aim to make the selling process as fast and efficient as possible. We cannot pay any funds to the vendor until we have recieved settlement from the buyer.

The default method of payment is via cheque.   Direct transfer to a nominated bank account is available upon request.
