From the north and south on the A1:
Leave the A1 at the A184 junction and follow the signs to Newcastle and Gateshead. After 1 mile get into the left lane and take the left fork following signs to Gateshead Town Centre.

At the roundabout take 3'rd exit which is the A184 to Gateshead Town Centre. After 1 mile go straight on over the roundabout and a set of traffic lights. At T-junction and traffic lights turn left (you have no choice). Cross Tyne Bridge to enter Newcastle Upon Tyne. Follow signs A167(M) Other Routes.

After river take second available slip-road signed Wallsend A193. At the roundabout take 3'rd exit signed Wallsend A193. Go past the cinema on the left, straight over three sets if lights and over Byker Bridge. After 1 mile take 2'nd exit at the West Byker Roundabout signed Wallsend A193. After 3/4 mile of dual carriageway take 1'st exit at Byker East Roundabout signed shields road Shopping Centre. At mini-roundabout next to Shell filling station take first exit. Take immediate right turn into Algernon Road and Thomas N Miller's car park is on your left.

From the west on the A69:
On the A69 follow signs to Newcastle. At junction with A1 take the 3'rd exit at the roundabout signposted Gateshead and the South. After 4 miles southbound leave the A1at the A184 junction and follow signs to Newcastle and Gateshead.

After 1 mile get into the left lane and take left fork following signs to Gateshead Town Centre. At roundabout take 3'rd exit which is the A184 to Gateshead Town Centre. After 1 mile go straight on over roundabout and a set of traffic lights. At T-junction and traffic lights turn left (you have no choice). Cross Tyne Bridge to enter Newcastle Upon Tyne. From the A19:
On the A19 follow the signs to Tyne Tunnel. Pass northbound through the tunnel and through the toll booths. At the roundabout take the 1'st exit signed A19 Morpeth. After 3 miles at junction with A1058 take first exit at roundabout signed A1058 Newcastle.

After 3 1/2 miles branch left and take first exit at roundabout signed A188 Heaton. Drive down Chillingham Road and after 1 mile go straight over roundabout signed City Centre.

After 400 yards at Byker East Roundabout take 4'th exit (before shell station) signed Shields Road Shopping Centre. At mini roundabout take 1'st exit. Take immediate right turn into Algernon Road and Thomas N. Miller's car park is on your left.
